Tessa Designs were engaged to assist in the custom design and functionality of the home including the selection of all fixtures, fittings, colours, timbers, furniture and lighting creating a contemporary modern style that is warm and welcoming using layers of colour, textures and fabrics.
The custom built home was designed perfectly for a modern family taking into account many of the families individual needs and wants including double garaging, separate gym, pool, indoor/outdoor flow, high ceilings and light filled spaces. A study, mud room plus large family room opens onto an alfresco area built for summer dining and relaxing as well as for the cooler months enabling the family to enjoy the space all year round.
The decoration of the home is warmed by a delicate palette of soft milky whites and greys accented by dramatic highlights of watery blue, midnight black and glimmering brass. Throughout, vivid large scale (commissioned) artworks by contemporary Australian artists were brought in to inject bursts of high-impact colour and interest throughout the home.
