Define Brief

Developing the project brief with key objectives outlined.
Establish project scope, budget and base timeframe.

Schematic Design, Budget & Scheduling

Gathering & refining initial ideas to form unique design concepts via conceptual moodboards, and schematic floor plans to communicate design intent Outline timelines to manage clients’ expectations around the viability of their ideal completion date and budget forecast.

Design Development

Designs are developed in detail, specifications are finalised & the Budget Forecast is updated to reflect a more accurate representation of likely costs Developing the schematic ideas into a fully functioning design solution gives the clients a clear picture of how the designs will look & how their project will feel.

Elevations & perspectives include the materials accompanied by a Materials Tray of the specified finishes.

Documentation Package

Once the clients have signed off Stage 3 all the details can be documented thoroughly, including details dimensioning, sections, notations and detailed drawings. Schedules communicate specifications clearly and trade scopes set clear expectations to tender parties about what is required in their formal estimation

Tender

In this stage documentation packages are sent
to all interested parties, quotes are compiled and reviewed according to a set criteria (not just cost). This is an opportunity to ensure that the appointed trades are a good fit for you and your clients.

This is also the point at which final trade quotes are obtained and compiled to provide your client with a detailed Project Estimate.

Construction, Design & Admin

After the client has appointed a builder, contracts are signed and the project commences.

During construction designers procure & schedule deliveries, problem solve and facilitate/attend meetings with the builder, clients and external trades, as required.

Installation & Handover

During the installation stage, furniture pieces & accessories are delivered, quality checked and placed into position.

Other duties include wallpaper installation, art hanging and final styling. This is the perfect moment to arrange photography.

Collate care instructions, warranties & instruction manuals into a Hand-Over Folder.
